The Golden Thread Retreat

Friday, 12th  - Monday, 15th January, 2024

42 Acres, Somerset

Forest

Soul Alchemy

Dream Awake focuses on physical, mental and spiritual health. We believe the foundation to health and healing is whole food and movement. Cacao is the food that guides you through this retreat, a sacred medicine with health and spiritual benefits.

Movement is more than exercise. It will support you in releasing stagnant energy in your body, discombobulate your senses, and help transform the parts of you that are 'held' and frozen.

Cacao combined with movement, conscious breathing, meditation, ritual, shamanic journeying, music, ceremony and hands-on energy work, weave together to create Soul Alchemy.

The Golden Thread

Cath and Fin are skilled in guiding you into your body, from which you will experience the essence of cacao. They create a nurturing and sacred space for an inner transformational journey to empower you to explore the depths of your full potential.

The sisters offer you the opportunity to connect with your body, so you can deepen your intuition with the essence of cacao - Ixcacao - to understand her as an ally and a spirit guide. The sacred cacao is profound and subtle, she guides and informs you towards healing and personal growth.

42 Acres Work Room

Sanctuary

42 Acres is a as a home for personal, social and environmental change.

We chose this venue for its spectacular nature and views, spaces for meditation and personal inquiry and a supportive team who share our vision.

42 Acres has its own organic vegetable farm.

From Soil to Gut

The ethos of 42 Acres is to grow and eat in a way that serves the health of people and the planet. They journey well beyond the farm to the table concept and delve deeper into our soils and our gut. They believe that the soils in which they grow food and our gut in which the food ends up, are one and the same.

Since the health and contents of the soil will inevitably end up in our body, we should treat them with the same care. Their locally sourced, home-grown and wild foraged ingredients reflect how they nourish the land and local environment.
